NY Public Library TTRPG Open Tables

Come forth and join us on wonderous adventures! The Dice Goblins of NYC and the NY Public Library present 3 one shots adventures for players of all experience levels to enjoy. Players are not expected to bring anything to play except of willingness to be creative, improvisational and work with others. While attendees can indicate the adventure they wish to play when registering, the choice of adventure will be first come, first serve. The one shots presented this month are:

• Speak the Words (Cosmre RPG)
  Speak the Words is an adventure designed to highlight the Stormlight™ Campaign Setting’s focus on heroism, oaths, and war. When Odium's forces besiege the city of Karanak, a group of heroes face a life-or-death decision. Whether they choose protection or liberation, at least one hero will have a chance to swear the First Ideal and become Radiant.
• And then there was a Storm (Brindlewood Bay)
  Brindlewood Bay is a Powered by the Apocalypse (PbtA) game. The players take on the role of the Murder Mavens, a club of older people who are fans of the ubiquitous Amanda Delacourt Gold Crown Mysteries. They also occasionally have to solve real mysteries too. We will be playing the scenario "And then there was a Storm" where the Mavens will be at the town library for a yearly event. Hopefully nothing untoward happens that day.
• Scourge of the Demon Wolf (OSR)
  Last summer the Baron sent his huntsmen to kill the beast torrorizing us and they came back in victory... or so we thought. When the beast returned, a letter sent to the Baron declared that until the beast is truely slain, no harvest will occur. Come play Old School Renaissance RPG that harkens back to games played in the 70s as you rescue a town from the Demon Wolf terrorizing it.
