D&D One-shot: The Unmarked Village

You are a group of adventurers traveling to the nearest town for work. Soon you come to a village not marked on any map. Upon entering you find the people pleasant but the whole place gives an unnerving feeling. The people wear odd clothes and the buildings look old in design but well maintained. There is a mystery to be solved here but what? If interested, please bring a level 3 character and $2 donation to the event. Official 5e books are allowed and we are using 2014 rules.
