D&D Oneshot: A Frosty Reception

Every winter, inhabitants of the realm celebrate Jollyfest, a holiday of giving and forgiving. This is with the exception of the distant northern village of Humberg. Every villager there is filled with malice, greed and considerable tooth decay. This village is said to have been cursed for decades due to their unwillingness to share in the holiday spirit.

Every year the villagers are haunted by strange howling in the woods, sightings of a red glow around the village outskirts and gremlin-like creatures that cause mischief and destruction before disappearing without a trace. The group has been hired by the village elder to kill the monster and relieve the village of its curse. But perhaps there is another way. Please bring a 3rd level character using 5e 2014 rules standard array plus a $2 donation for the meetup fee.
