What we’re about
Hey all, this group is for people that are new to the awesome town of Durango (or surrounding areas)! We also welcome long time Durangoans looking to expand their social circles. I (Jessica) formed this group so that people could easily make new friends. This is a free, welcoming, community that organizes events at key locations around Southwest Colorado. Together, we explore the natural beauty, culture, and cuisine that the area has to offer in a fun, low-key environment. The target age group is people in their late 20's, 30's, and 40's, but everyone is welcome!
Please note that rudeness, excessive drinking, reckless behavior, and other unfriendly behavior will not be tolerated. You will be banned from the group if you cannot be a kind, responsible, community member.
Don't be shy if you've never done Meetup before! Members are welcome to suggest ideas to the organizers. We are open to all events as long as they are inclusive of everyone, nonpolitical, and don't require too much physical risk (i.e. no paragliding).
**Please note, we don't allow our group to be used as a platform for fundraisers, to promote businesses, or to recruit for other groups (especially for-profit groups). This is extremely important, and you will be asked to leave if you cannot respect this.**
