Vegan Potluck Picnic in the Park

Four Corners Vegans and Durango Vegans are teaming up again to host a picnic potluck in the park!

This event is free, and open to all. Our events usually have a dozen people or more show up, and have piles of delicious food. Our events are welcoming and inclusive, fun and low-pressure. No cooking skills? No worries, just stop by and have lunch with us!

We'll meet at one of the gazebos in the park. There are three shelters in the park, and all are easily visible from the parking area. If they're already taken, we'll have a true picnic potluck on the grass under the shade of the big trees. Look for the whiteboard sign if you're not sure where to find us.

We'll meet starting around 12:30, and start eating around 1pm. These events usually last a couple hours.

What to bring:

• A vegan dish with serving utensil. If you prefer not to cook, store-bought drinks or simple snacks are always appreciated!
• Your own utensils, and a plate/bowl/cup. Towels/napkins are also a good bet! There will be a few extra plates and utensils at the event. You may want to bring a picnic blanket too, if you plan on sitting on the grass.
• Kites, frisbees, lawn games if you have them. Fun, but totally optional.
• Friends and family who are interested.

ALL are welcome, whether you're vegan or not. Please make sure any food you bring is 100% vegan (no eggs, dairy, meat, honey, gelatin, or animal-based broth). If you're bringing store-bought food, please double check ingredient labels to make sure there are no animal products.

Blank cards will be provided at the event so that you can write down ingredients and any allergens that might be present in the food, or you can bring your own ingredient card. This is optional, but really helps for our members who have food restrictions and allergies.
