Life Lessons from My Garden by Stephanie Triantafillou on October 23rd.
Originally from New Hampshire, where she grew up helping tend her family’s garden, Stephanie moved to North Carolina when she was 18 years old to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a “super” Tarheel as her father and three siblings attended UNC. In 1998, she completed a Masters of Public Health from UNC.
In 1999, she moved to Durham and considers the Bull City her home and where she has chosen to work and raise her daughter. Since 2007, she has held healthcare leadership positions within the Duke University Health System, including her current role as Durham Pediatrics’ Health Center Administrator. In her spare time, she loves to garden – flowers and vegetables—and will talk to us today about how as the years pass, season to season, gardens teach us some important life lessons.
