Holiday Party w/ Book Exchange

Just, you know… a party. A chance to celebrate end-of-the-year holidays. A moment to reflect on surviving another rotation of the planet. And, every bit as important as either of those: A great opportunity to both give to and shamelessly pilfer from likeminded reader friends!

Let’s pilot the first ever Readers Group Holiday Party, complete with a White Elephant Book Exchange. For the first time in this group’s history, there is a requirement for attending this event.

• YOU MUST BRING A BOOK.
• It must be wrapped.

Preferably, a really good book that you enjoy and want to share with some other lucky reader. Used books are completely fine (encouraged even!) but since we need it wrapped and steal-able, e-books and audiobooks are out. (Sorry, kids; fascism in full swing over here!)

I’ll be hosting this one in my home, with more specific directions and an exact address provided closer to time for those who RSVP. As hostess, I will of course provide some sort of sustenance and refreshments, but please feel free to bring things to contribute, especially if you have dietary restrictions.
