Film Adaptation: The Last of the Mohicans

Note: This will be a cross-over event with the film group I run

I don’t know about y’all, but I somehow made it through lots of years of school without ever having to read this book. And the movie? With smoldering Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeline Stowe sporting identical haircuts as a sign they’re destined to become lovers? Just the kind of melodramatic historical romance made for a Mother’s Day matinee.
