Film Adaptation: Hamnet

Long awaited, much anticipated! Chloe Zhao’s film adaptation of Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet is finally in theaters, now complete with a fully immersive English (read: grey) weather experience.

Fuck it, I’m giving you no synopsis. It stars Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal. PLEASE READ THE BOOK. (Will also accept audiobooks.)

AS ALWAYS, I recommend buying tickets in advance. Show is at 4:00. Seating is general admission and The Chelsea gets fiesty so I’ll be seated by 3:45. Afterwards, let’s plan to gush, complain, and emotionally recover over dinner at Oishii (which should have vegan and gluten free options).
