Science Distilled: 21+ After Hours Event at the Museum of Life and Science

Delve into the science that takes grain to glass in this immersive AfterHours experience. Enjoy the jazzy sounds of Daze Work and explore the chemistry of cocktails with some of Durham’s best mixologists. Chat with local distilleries and discover all the stages of liquor distillation, find out what makes their vodkas, whiskeys, and gins unique and of course, taste their products! You’ll have access to our most popular exhibits while you experience hands on science experiments, crafts, activities and much more!

Admission to this event includes a commemorative “Science Distilled” glass, three drink tickets for hand-crafted cocktails, plus food and drink samples. All money raised from this event will benefit our conservation and education initiatives that help inspire lifelong learning. So, when it all boils down, buying a ticket is a selfless act!
