Carolina Skies @ Morehead Planetarium

Details
Let’s take advantage of the last weekend before students return en masse to check out a planetarium show at the Morehead.
“The Carolina Skies program takes visitors on a guided tour of the nighttime sky as it appears on that very night above North Carolina. Visitors learn to identify celestial objects visible to the naked eye and find the cardinal directions using celestial signposts. They learn about the legends and myths created by ancient cultures to explain the astronomical phenomenon observed by those cultures.”

AS ALWAYS, I recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid the heartbreak of a possible sellout.
Show starts at 4:30, so we will collect in the lobby around 4:15 or so, until they start seating. At that point, it’s every nerd for themselves! After the show, we can stroll around and grab dinner somewhere in Chapel Hill.
