Live & Local: Snacks at BOND|ST and Tuesdays with Morrie at Regent Theatre

Details
Join us this Friday evening for a live production of Tuesdays with Morrie, directed by Oshawa’s own Joan Mansfield.
We’re gathering at Bond|St Snack Bar at 6:30 pm (on Bond, just east of Simcoe) for snacks and drinks, then heading over to Regent Theatre around 7:30 pm. It’s about a three-minute walk.
You’re welcome to join us for one or both parts of the evening.
Tuesdays with Morrie is the autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch happens to catch Morrie’s appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor is battling Lou Gehrig’s disease. Mitch is reunited with Morrie, and what starts as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a final class in the meaning of life.
Written by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom. Based on the book by Mitch Albom.
Please note that this true story deals with emotional subject matter and includes conversations about life, love, illness, and death.
