2026 BOOK SELECTION MEETUP

Time to pick our books for 2026!

We will discuss and vote on our 2026 book choices at this online meetup. Please attend to advocate for your favorites. I'll put together an online ballot of all the books suggested in the Book Suggestions discussion thread (posted as a dummy Meetup on 1/1/2026). If there's a book (or books) you would like us to consider reading in 2026, be sure to post them THERE (https://www.meetup.com/durhambooksmoviesmore/events/312042488/) by 7 pm on Thursday, January 1.

We will pick and schedule books for the entire year based on the vote. Book discussion Meetups are generally held at 4:00 on the 3rd Sunday of the month (with some adjustments for holidays). The person who suggested the book is typically the host for that book's discussion. This past year we have also been holding a second Meetup for each book, usually on the following Thursday. You aren't responsible for hosting both meetings if you select a book, however. Caroline, Christy, or another member will host if you aren't able to.

If you can't attend but want to vote, please email Christy or Caroline separately so we can share the voting link with you. Anyone who has attended one of our book discussion Meetups is eligible to vote.
