Hiking from Barmen to Oberbarmen

Hey everyone 😊🥾

We’re heading out for a scenic hike through Wuppertal this Sunday! Expect a nice mix of forest trails, green hills, and a few steady climbs to keep things interesting 🌿⛰️

We’ll meet at 10:30 at Düsseldorf Hbf — or feel free to hop on along the way 🚆
Train schedule: Dep: 10:42 Düsseldorf Hbf platform 7 RE4 (26413) Arr: 11:10 Wuppertal-Barmen platform 4

From there, we’ll hike from Barmen to Oberbarmen. The route is 16.8 km with about 376 m ascent and 371 m descent — a moderate hike at a relaxed group pace 💪🙂
Estimated hiking time is approximately 4:46, but we’ll take breaks and enjoy the surroundings, so no rush 🍎☕

We aim to be back at Düsseldorf Hbf around 17:00, though timing can vary depending on the group ⏳
