In collabaration with Angular Birmingham we announce our first meetup of 2021! Normally we will use youtube, but this time we are invited to join the Angular Birmingham group so this session will be via Zoom, the Link will be posted on the day and we will share the video afterwards via Youtube.

JavaScript is supposed to be synchronous and single-threaded but
we use asynchronous functions all the time - what's going on? It may seem simple but it's quite complex under the hood, leading to confusion and bugs even for experienced JavaScript developers. For this talk, Angular GDEs Sander Elias (@sanderelias) and Bonnie Brennan (@bonnster75) get some help (and awesome 3D animations!) from Sam Brennan (@thelittlestdev) to show you what's really happening under the v8 hood.
