What actually makes someone a senior developer?

Technical expertise is often the first thing that comes to mind. But real seniority goes beyond code. It combines strong engineering skills with communication, coaching, and the ability to create alignment within teams.

Whether it’s refactoring existing code, improving developer experience, or helping a team adopt newer Angular approaches (like Signals), these changes often require more than technical knowledge alone.

In this talk, Nicky Haze shares practical lessons from years of frontend development and consulting, showing how technical and human skills together create real impact in software teams.

Small differences in spacing, typography, and layout can quickly turn a polished design into an interface that feels “almost right.” In this talk, we explore how developers can leverage AI to bridge the gap between design and implementation. We’ll look at practical ways AI can assist in translating design files into code, speeding up repetitive UI work. From interpreting design sto generating components and refining layouts, the session focuses on how AI can augment the developer workflow.
