Sharpen Your Angular Skills: Smarter Development with Mocks and Signals

Details

Get ready for an exciting Angular evening! πŸš€

Axxes and the Dutch Angular Group have joined forces to bring you a top-notch meetup β€” hosted at the Axxes office. We kick off with a free dinner and drinks, followed by two inspiring talks:

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» Thomas Brok β€” "Local Development with Angular, MSW, and Faker.js"
Thomas discusses how to use Mock Service Worker (MSW) to mock the entire backend to develop faster and more efficiently. He shows how to generate realistic data using faker.js, and how to use MSW to set up a consistent and realistic testing environment for each pull request.
In short: practical tips to speed up and improve your development workflow!
πŸ”” Sander Elias β€” "Best Practices for Angular Signals"
In this talk I will zoom in on signals, and how to use them in a best practice way. I created a small CRUD app that is entirely driven by signals. It does not only follow best practices around signals, but also around how to properly use CRUD operations, and how to do inter-component communication using signals.

In the end it shows how you can use signals to create a clean and performant app, that is easy to maintain and extend.

Schedule:

  • 17:30 Walk-in
  • 18:00 Food & drinks (on us!)
  • 19:00 First talk
  • 20:00 Break
  • 20:15 Second talk
  • 21:15 Networking & drinks
  • 22:00 End

To make the night even better: we’re raffling off a WebStorm license among all attendees who are interested!

Whether you're an experienced Angular developer or just starting to explore Signals and smarter local development, this evening is packed with practical insights, good food, and great people. See you there!
