MCP, Azure and AI

Details
AI is a hot topic, and tonight, it takes center stage at our Meetup at Xebia. With two expert-led sessions, we'll dive into Copilot and MCP for Azure and explore how to create a classic video game using the o1 reasoning model. Looking forward to an evening of learning and innovation!
Copilot and MCP for Azure
Learn how to get even more value from GitHub Copilot by including the new Model Context Protocol (MCP) features in VS Code! MCP is the new rage on Generative AI land and opens the possibility to bring in more context into your chat conversations. And we all know with GitHub Copilot: context is key! MCP gives more information about your cloud architecture so that you can get better suggestions from Copilot.
Hidde de Smet & Rob Bos
Rebuilding Classic Video Games with o1 Reasoning model
Thijs challenged himself to rebuild one of his favorite games using AI technology. He was amazed by the fact that he built level 1 of the original Super Mario Brothers in 20 hours with all its game mechanics and interactions, by prompting only and applying the instructions and output from the AI.
This session is for anybody interested in using AI to significantly increase their productivity.
You will learn about the o1 model and its reasoning capabilities and there will be many demo's. Besides the playful parts about building games, Thijs will show how the o1 model helps him significantly in his daily job. Last we will enter the Boss Battle Arena and we will build a game live on stage. Next, Game Over?
