Dutch Data Science FinTech and AI Event

Hello Dutch Data Science enthusiasts!

It is time for the next meetup! This one is coming in fast, at 8 November 18:00-22:00!

This meet up is all about Data Science and Financial Technology. We prepared a nice mix of interesting speakers in the FinTech industry and science field. Afterwards there will be ample opportunity to network with drinks and food.
The meet-up will be held at the Rabobank headquarters in Utrecht which is made available to us.

Rabobank and NGI-NGN was kind enough to sponsor the event, so the admission will be free of charge.

All talks will be in English.

Towards autonomous detection of adversary behavior
When transitioning from a rule-based - to autonomous system for detecting adversary behavior in the financial domain, one faces the following requirements:

• model training should be performed frequently, without human intervention,
• model training should be focused on minimizing false positives,
• model training should be domain-agnostic;

This presentation will detail the approach that was used to fulfill these requirements and create an autonomous detection system that currently runs in production at a large bank.

Hiltsje Smilde, Capgemini
Hiltsje Smilde is part of the technology lab at ABN Amro, where new technologies are tested by building prototypes, and the goal is to inspire the bank in doing cool new stuff. She collaborated with the team who built ‘tikkie’, a smart payment app which makes it easy to do payments across platforms. Hiltsje build an iOS app extension which enables you to use the app with Siri,, Apple’s voice recognition system. She will talk about Siri, Tikkie and the connection with AI.
