Mei 2026 DIWUG Meetup

Beste DIWUG leden,

Op dinsdag 26 mei 2026 organiseren we weer een nieuwe editie van de DIWUG Meetup. Deze maand zijn we te gast bij Silverside aan de Rivium Quadrant 81, 2909 LC in Capelle aan den IJssel. We kijken ernaar uit om samen weer een mooie avond vol kennisdeling, inspiratie en ontmoetingen te beleven.

We hosten de Meetup enkel op locatie dus we gaan de sessies niet streamen. Een mooie gelegenheid om elkaar weer te zien en bij te praten over alle nieuwe ontwikkelingen of gewoon te horen hoe het gaat met iedereen.

Het programma is als volgt:

Most Power Apps fail for one simple reason: they feel like forms. not like products people want to return to.

In this session, we’ll borrow proven UX/UI patterns from gaming and consumer apps like Duolingo to turn “one-and-done” Power Apps into experiences that users actually enjoy using.
You’ll learn a practical engagement toolkit: progression systems, clear goals, feedback loops, micro-rewards, streak mechanics, onboarding quests, and UI patterns that reduce friction while increasing motivation. We’ll translate these patterns into real Power Apps design decisions—what to show, when to show it, how to guide users, and how to make success feel visible.
Expect concrete examples, do’s & don’ts, and a “pattern library” you can apply immediately—without turning your business app into a toy.

• 20:15 - Sessie #2 - Do you really need another secure mail solution? Rethinking email encryption with Microsoft Purview – Dominique Hermans, Microsoft MVP

Email encryption is often addressed by adding yet another secure‑mail solution. But how far can you get with what Microsoft 365 already provides?

In this session, we take a practical look at Microsoft Purview Advanced Message Encryption. We explore the core capabilities it brings to the table, such as branding templates, enforced portal access and message revocation & expiration. Rather than treating encryption as a button, we focus on how these features actually work, how they are configured, and what control they really give organizations over sensitive email communication.

Next, we place Purview Advanced Message Encryption side by side with well‑known ‘Dutch’ alternatives such as Zivver, Zorgmail, and Smartlockr. We clearly outline where Purview provides comparable capabilities and where it lacks in terms of features.

We then zoom out to look at legislation and regulation. What role do jurisdiction, data sovereignty, and compliance requirements play when choosing between a native Microsoft solution and a third‑party secure‑mail provider?

Finally, we connect all of this to value for money. Given that Purview Advanced Message Encryption is already included in your Microsoft 365 E5 subscription, when is it sufficient on its own, and when does a specialized secure‑mail solution still add real value?

Attendees will leave with a clear decision framework to assess secure email requirements, without defaulting to adding complexity where it may not be needed.
