Celebrate Global Big Day with us at The Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens!
The Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens is a 120-acre urban woodland with over three miles of trails through a series of distinct ecological habitats, including a walkway encircling a beautiful two-acre lake. There are over 100 labeled plants. The Arboretum is developed and managed by the Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens, Inc., a non-profit entity that leases the land from the City. In the fall we hope to find warblers, thrashers, and grosbeaks.
Bring binoculars, water, sunscreen, bug spray, sturdy walking shoes, and a hat if desired.
Location - 1445 Millcoe Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225
Except for special events, there is no admission fee, but those who are not Arboretum members are asked to give a $3 donation to help with operation costs.
