Field Trip: St. Augustine Road Fish Management Area

Come join us for an exploration of Saint Augustine Road Fish Management Area! Highlights of birds seen at the area are wood duck, purple gallinule, nesting swallow-tailed kites, swallows, and occasionally an escapee saffron finch.

Bring your binoculars, insect repellent, sunscreen, snacks and plenty of water.

Directions: from University Blvd, go north on St. Augustine Road and turn left at Stetson Rd, just past Earl Johnson Park at 5308 St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Go the end of the road and meet the rest of the group in the parking area.
