Community Networks Conference (CNCon) 2026 (cross-post)

Cross-posting the event listing here for the PNW dweb community! It is also cross posted here to the dweb events calendar: https://getdweb.net/#events

The Seattle Community Network (SCN) will be hosting its first Community Networks Conference (CNCon) in Seattle this year on Friday Nov 20th, 2026.

It is intended as a gathering for local and global community networks (including nascent ones) to share and learn from each other in the methods of community networking, a classic way to decentralize control over our Internet infrastructure.
There will be both virtual and in-person talks, with speakers from different communities around the country and the world.

Food and snacks will be provided!

Please register here!

Got a community network or related project you want to share? Please submit a session here!

Finally, we would love your donation here to support the conference and our infrastructure! <3

After the event, we will head back to the SCN Space at /dev/hack for a special CNCon edition of SCN's Monthly Hack Night: https://www.meetup.com/seattle-community-network/events/swbrbvyjcpbbc/
