Polkadot is a global network of blockchains and the foundation for a new, peer-to-peer Internet. Founded in 2016 by Gavin Wood (co-founder of Ethereum and former CTO of the Ethereum Foundation), Polkadot aims to build a completely decentralized web where users are in control.

Meetup agenda:
Part 1: Intro about Polkadot by Bill Laboon (15-20 minutes)
Part 2: Fireside chat between Bill Laboon and Jeremy Clark (15-20 minutes)
Part 3: Virtual hangout room (see more info below)

Virtual hangout room: Participants will be able to join at the end of the talks a virtual room with 5 other individuals for 10 minutes and then switch rooms. This way participants will be able to chat and have a meetup-like experience.

For those who will not be able to join, we will be recording the event and posting it on our YouTube channel.
