Dynamic Figure Drawing in Brooklyn

Come draw from a live nude model and enjoy snacks and wine from the cafe!

Please note that starting in 2014 the fee for this meetup will be $15 instead of $10, the extra $5 going to the cafe that hosts this event.

We will begin drawing at 6:30 instead of 7, and will run until 8:30 pm. Please note the change!

We will be focusing on a series of short, challenging poses (the longest poses will be 5 minutes). This is designed to help artists of all levels to get back to basics and focus on the gesture behind the pose. It is encouraged that artists bring materials appropriate to sketching: charcoal, pens, pencils, and newsprint or sketch pads are ideal, however feel free to experiment with any mediums you wish to bring.
