19 MILE RIDE - FOSTER PARK TO OJAI AND BACK

This description is for the 19 mile ride. There is also a 36 MILE VERSION of the ride which can be found here.
The difference between this group and the other one is that you'll be on a shorter and easier ride to Ojai. Both groups will meet up at 10:00 a.m. in Foster Park next to the reastrooms.

Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube or slime as well as a bike lock if you plan on having lunch.

MEETUP LOCATION: Foster Park next to restrooms

MEETUP DATE AND TIME: Friday, May 16th no later than 10:00 a.m. ready to ride.

MEETUP PARKING: Park under the freeway on Casitas Vista Road

DISTANCE: 19 miles round trip

DURATION: 4.5 hours

ELEVATION GAIN: 800 feet

BIKE TRAIL DESCRIPTION: A paved two lane bike path on one of the best and most scenic bike paths in Southern California.

THE PACE: 8 MPH on up

LEVEL: Advanced Beginner on up

LUNCH: In Ojai we'll be having lunch at Zaidee's Bar and Grill before returning. if not interested in having lunch with the group, you can return on your own.
