**BIKE RIDE FROM VENTURA TO RINCON AND BACK**

We'll be riding from San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura to Rincon Point and back. Afterwards, as an option, we'll head (via bike) to Dukes Bar and Grill at 1124 S Seaward Ave, Ventura for a debriefing.
Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.

**[MEETUP LOCATION AND TIME:](https://maps.app.goo.gl/EgcXyGMjamwsnVdg7?g_st=am) (<-Click) 9 am at Buenaventura state park in the parking lot that's nearest to the beach and the bike path. There are restrooms here.

**MEETUP DIRECTIONS FROM 101:** Exit at Seaward Avenue in Ventura and head towards the ocean. Turn right on Pierpoint Blvd and take it to the end which will take you into the park.

**MEETUP DATE AND TIME:** Wednesday , August 13 at 9 a.m.

**PARKING FEE:** Probably about $10 for the day. There's also free street parking.

**DISTANCE:** 30 miles round trip

**DURATION:** 4 hours

**ELEVATION GAIN:** 500'

**BIKE TRAIL DESCRIPTION:** A paved two lane bike path and a bike lane on Pacific Coast Highway.
