36 MILE RIDE - SAN BUENAVENTURA STATE BEACH TO OJAI AND BACK

The weather is finally cooling down...enough to do an Ojai ride!!
We'll be leaving promptly at 9:15 am from Ventura. We won't be waiting for anyone who is late. If you find yourself arriving late for whatever reason, please drive to Foster Park where you can meet us. We should be there around 10 am. Also post that you'll be meeting us there on this meetup.

Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube or slime as well as a bike lock if you plan on having lunch.

MEETUP LOCATION: San Buenaventura State Beach, Ventura in the main parking lot accessed via Pierpoint Blvd.

MEETUP DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, Sept 10 at 9:00 a.m.

MEETUP PARKING FEE: Free parking on the street, paid parking in the lot where we meet.

DISTANCE: 36 miles round trip

DURATION: 5 hours

ELEVATION GAIN: 1100 feet

BIKE TRAIL DESCRIPTION: A paved two lane bike path on one of the best and most scenic bike paths in Southern California.

THE PACE: 11 MPH on up

LEVEL: Advanced Beginner on up

LUNCH: In Ojai we'll be having lunch at Zaidee's Bar and Grill before returning. if not interested in having lunch with the group, you can return on your own.
