Get multiple Fun Cycling Events for the price of 1. We start from the Los Angeles State Historic Park where there is free parking on adjacent streets. From our start location in front of the Cargo Snack Shack we will embark on a guided bicycle tour of interesting food stops and hidden gems in the Downtown Los Angeles Area and join the main event with CicLaVia.

This will be a mix of easy bike riding (12 mph or less on mostly closed streets) and walking with frequent stops to take pictures and indulge in local eateries. Among some of the planned stops:
Long's Family Pastry. Chinese - Dim Sum
Olvera Street. Mexican - Taquitos
Little Tokyo. Japanese - Mochi, Taiyaki, Imagawayaki
6th St Bridge. Photo Op
The Last Bookstore. (Opens @ 11:00 am)
The Donut Man + Much More @ Grand Central Market - Fresh Fruit Filled Donuts, Tacos, McConnell's Ice Cream, BBQ

Depending upon time and group size, we might visit a few hidden rooftops and garage tops with panoramic views of the city. There may be an optional lunch after the ride if anyone is still hungry after all of the food stops. The ending time is an approximation and depends on how much food/photos the group wishes to indulge in.

Route:
We will follow the CicLaVia route (see photo below) but add a few detours and stops for photos and food. Round trip for the CicLaVia portion is approximately 14 miles + a couple of extra miles for our detours.
