We meet up in the parking lot near the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round. We proceed south on Crystal Springs Drive into the suburban hills above Los Feliz Blvd and then make our way near the Greek Theater onto the (car closed) paved Vista Del Valle Drive that snakes up into the hills. Vista Del Valle takes us past *[Cedar Grove](https://rs.locationshub.com/Home/LocationDetail?rsLocationId=050-10039271)*, the Helipad, *[Bee Rock](https://californiathroughmylens.com/bee-rock-hike-griffith-park/)*, the *[Haunted Picnic Table](https://pinintheatlas.com/travel-blogs/haunted-picnic-table-29-griffith-park-california/)*, *[Cathy’s Corner](https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/cathy-s-corner-via-mt-hollywood-drive-trail)*, *[Royce’s Canyon](https://www.avoidingregret.com/2013/01/photo-essay-griffith-parks-hidden-royce.html)* and finally down to Griffith Park Drive. We wind our way to Crystal Springs Drive and head north to the LA River for a sojourn down the dedicated bike path for about 5 miles, before returning to our cars.
**Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.**

**THE PACE:** No faster than the slowest in the group
**DURATION:** 3+ hours
**LEVEL:** Advanced Beginner Ebiker
**TERRAIN**: Road bike lanes, dedicated bike paths, low volume traffic roads
**RESTROOMS:** Restroom at the start (next to the Merry-Go-Round) and then one is available at about 13 miles into our route.
