BIKE RIDE FROM VENTURA TO RINCON AND BACK

We'll be riding from San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura to Rincon Point and back. Afterwards, as an option, we'll head (via bike) to Dukes Bar and Grill at 1124 S Seaward Ave, Ventura for a debriefing.
Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.

**MEETUP LOCATION AND TIME: (<-Click) 9:30 am at Buenaventura state park in the parking lot that's nearest to the beach and the bike path. There are restrooms here.

MEETUP DIRECTIONS FROM 101: Exit at Seaward Avenue in Ventura and head towards the ocean. Turn right on Pierpoint Blvd and take it to the end which will take you into the park.

MEETUP DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, January 27 at 9:30 a.m.

PARKING FEE: Probably about $10 for the day. There's also free street parking. If you have a California Golden Bear Pass, you can park in the State park main lot for free.

DISTANCE: 30 miles round trip

DURATION: 4 hours

ELEVATION GAIN: 500'

BIKE TRAIL DESCRIPTION: A paved two lane bike path and a bike lane on Pacific Coast Highway.

THE PACE: 12 MPH on up
