DIRT ROAD TO THORN MEADOWS CAMPGROUND

This ride will take us on a well graded dirt road deep in the Las Padres Mountains, as we head out to Thorn Meadows Campground.

Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube or slime. Also, wear layered clothing since it will be cool.

INITIAL MEETUP LOCATION AND TIME: The Flying J Travel Center in Lebec at 9:30am. From there we'll drive (caravan) another 17 miles to our final meetup location on Lockwood Valley Rd.

ELEVATION GAIN: 2200'

DURATION: 4+ hours

THE PACE: 6 MPH on up.
