Carpinteria to Santa Barbara Coastal Ride

Enjoy the cooling breezes along the bluffs of Carpinteria then through Summerland and Montecito into Santa Barbara and return.
Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.

MEETUP LOCATION AND TIME: 900am. Viola Fields parking lot at 6145 Carpinteria Ave, Carpinteria, CA 93013

DISTANCE: 25.6 miles. (1.7 miles of unpaved, ELAINE APPROVED!).
ELEVATION GAIN: 982 feet

LUNCH: Our plan is to have lunch during the last part of the ride (about mile 20) at Padaro Beach Grill, located at 3765 Santa Claus Ln, Carpinteria, CA 93013.
THE PACE: No faster than the slowest in the group
DURATION: 4+ hours
LEVEL: Intermediate E-biker. We want to move at a good pace!
TERRAIN: Road bike lanes, dedicated bike paths, flat dirt paths and low volume traffic roads.
RESTROOMS: Restroom at the start, also at 12 miles in the Coast Village Plaza -1187 Coast Village Rd, and at 16 miles Summerland Beach Park.
