What drives enterprising researchers to push beyond traditional boundaries of research impact? What kinds of attitudes, experiences and beliefs drive the innovative impulse? Are enterprising researchers born or made?
Meet our panellists:
• Dr Katherine Iscoe: Co-founded healthtech startup MyFiziq.com (http://www.myfiziq.com.au/) after completing a PhD in exercise physiology at UWA
• Dr Michael Winlo: Co-founded a medical device company after completing MBBS at UWA and now works to translate great science into useful tools that improve health (https://about.me/mwinlo).
• Prof Erik Champion: Curtin Uni researcher working to bring the past to life through gaming, virtual heritage and interactive history (https://erikchampion.wordpress.com/).
The session will be moderated by Jo Hawkins (UWA IQ).
