We are excited to announce, Dr. Aditi Joshi, Medical Director at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, as our Guest Moderator.

Dr. Aditi Joshi (https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-aditi-joshi/) is an experienced Emergency Physician working on improving healthcare through technology. Through over 3 years of working in Telemedicine on both the startup and hospital side, she has a keen interest in making technology palatable and effective for both patients, providers, and healthcare systems.
As an assistant professor, she teaches medical students and residents about telemedicine and health innovation with both practical and research components, helping to hone how the future physicians think about how technology will change medical practice. She regularly contributes articles on issues of merging provider and patient needs to digital health and innovation. She speaks and teaches both students and companies on strategizing how to bridge the gap between the two worlds.
Dr. Joshi is on the board of Squlptr, a healthcare app helping patients find the right local physicians for surgical procedures.

Rich Uhlig, Founder & CEO
is the Founder and CEO of Quadrant Biosciences Inc. He has more than 29 years of business experience with a focus on leading start-up and high-growth businesses. Previously, Mr. Uhlig served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Stanley Bank, the principal banking subsidiary of Morgan Stanley, where he engineered the growth of the bank from $8 billion to $35 billion in less than two years. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Uhlig was the Chief Investment Officer for Merrill Lynch Bank USA, building and managing a $65 billion proprietary trading portfolio. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Uhlig served as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG where he was a bond trader and the Co-Head of the Mortgage-Backed Securities Department for the Americas and Asia. Earlier in his career, Mr. Uhlig was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Uhlig is a graduate of Cornell University.

Ben Perry, Vice President of Technology at Quadrant Biosciences
Ben’s career in technology encompasses a wide breadth of expertise in software development, including enterprise web applications, cloud computing, and human-computer interaction. During his experience as both a senior developer and project manager, Ben has led projects involving crowdsourced metadata curation, inventory control tools, and identity management solutions. Prior to joining Quadrant Biosciences, Ben has developed software for the federal statistical system and public opinion domain. He received his Master’s degree in Information Science from Cornell University.

Randall Carpenter, MD
Dr. Carpenter is Quadrant’s Executive Vice Presiden of Clinical Development. Dr. Carpenter has over 30 years’ experience in primary care, academic medicine, basic science and clinical research, and pharmaceutical drug development. Dr. Carpenter’s experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries includes Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Seaside Therapeutics, President, and CEO of Sention, VP of Clinical Research and Development and Regulatory Affairs at Adolor Corporation and member of Astra Pain Control’s Global Therapeutic Area Team. While working in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, Dr. Carpenter led translational medicine teams responsible for eight IND submissions and dozens of GCP-compliant clinical trials. Prior to joining the industry, Dr. Carpenter held academic faculty appointments at Virginia Mason Medical Center, the University of Washington and Wake Forest University where he specialized in anesthesiology, pain management, and translational medicine.
