My name is Jamie Silverman and I'm interning with the Mid-Atlantic Championship at TPC Potomac at Avenel, which will be taking place later this month. I think the golf tournament would be a great event for this group to attend. The tournament is a part of the Web.com tour, which is the official path to the PGA tour. In fact last year’s tournament winner David Lingmerth has made a huge name for himself: he finished second to Tiger Woods in the Players Championship this week.
So while top of the line golf is a guarantee, the Mid-Atlantic Championship is going to be a great time. Thursday to Sunday (May 30-June 2) Under Armour is sponsoring a pride pavilion at the event, where happy hour will include food from 4395 Kitchen and Bar, beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. There will be a live band and DJ throughout the course of the event, along with lawn games and a Michelob Ultra bar. At only $10 a day, or $25 for the week, I don’t see a reason not to come out to TPC Potomac! The tournament provides an excellent opportunity to network with professionals in the community and to thoroughly take advantage of your Memorial Day weekend.
