Macrobiotics stresses the values of adjusting our eating to seasons and geographical location, also the importance of emphasizing specific food groups, such as vegetables, grains, beans, along with other foods groups. Equally valuable is tuning in to best eating habits and foods for our age, with consideration given to our activities, lifestyle and gender.
