Ecto Sandbox E2E tests using Cypress framework on SPA frontend application

Integration testing in Elixir is faster than other technologies, primarily thanks to Ecto Sandbox mode. On the other side of the spectrum are E2E (End to end) tests, probably the most useful but the slowest and hard-to-maintain type of tests. This is especially true when we have a frontend in a different language than the backend and placed in a separate repo. Nikola will try to demonstrate how to get from this setup the best from both sides of the E2E spectrum.

Nikola started with .NET and moved through the front end towards Ember.js and Ruby on Rails. The next step was React with Elixir Phoenix, with a current focus on Vue.js and Phoenix.
Started working remotely seven years ago via various platforms when this was not a cool option, and he first time met Croatian Elixir developers two years ago.
