Peek at Avast Big Data Kitchen Tools

• What we'll do
Since Avast has been active in Hadoop/big data arena for many years, we think you might be interested in seeing how they prepare their big data and what tools they use in their big data kitchen. In the HUG talk, you'll be able to also learn more on how you could adopt some of the tools in your own Hadoop kitchen. You will see the following:

1. hive-updater - updating of Hive table schemata according to changes in general schema registry
2. streaming activator - simplification of new Kafka Streams App setup for less tech-savvy users
3. hdfs-shell -- a bash-like environment for HDFS files operations with some advanced features

The talk will also cover use cases and provide the context for a further discussion.
