FinTech Lunch #6: Robo-Advice
The objective of the FinTech lunch series is to bring together FinTech association members and interested people for networking but also provide a forum for discussion of a dedicated topic. The topic this time is "Robo-Advice" for which we have secured two exciting speakers:
- Michael Stemmle
Michael is owner of Additiv, the software company behind a number of Robo Advisors in the market, such as the "Investomat" of Glarner Kantonalbank. While still in his studies the successful publication of a magazine covering the life of Lady Diana provided Michael with the capital to found his company Additiv in 1998. Today, Additiv has around 100 employees and is, in particular, a well regarded partner for financial services companies embracing digitalization.
2) Adriano Lucatelli
Adriano B. Lucatelli is a Swiss entrepreneur and investor and has recently founded Descartes Finance. Adriano has many years’ experience in managerial positions in various areas of major Swiss banks in Switzerland and the UK. He successfully set up and grew a Swiss securities house and cofounded an independent online portfolio management platform. He has been lecturing at the University of Zurich on international finance and is the author of several books and articles. With Descartes Finance Adriano takes the concept of Robo Advisors a decisive step forward; for example, various algorithmic and "smart beta" strategies will be offered on the platform.
