For our next meetup, we are pleased to invite you to the panel discussion about open APIs in the wealth management industry. How Swiss private banks share portfolio data? Is it safe? Who owns client data? Will data aggregation lead to full A.I. automation of private banking?

Who is Martin?

I am passionate about making things work, solving real-world problems - done is better than perfect. I like to automate. My strengths are the Java middle tier and the Oracle database. My current focus is on microservices and change management. My play task is learning more about Web UIs.

Who is Ashwin?

I have diverse and intensive experience of almost 15 years, in various roles from Venture Manager, Digital Strategy Consulting, Key Account Management, Program Management, Solution Architect and Delivery Management . This has help me achieve a unique combination of strategic thinking, hands on execution, domain and technical expertise. I am driven by a hunger to develop innovative , cutting edge solutions. I believe to succeed in technology, a deep understanding of the business is critical as technology enables business. Having managed large , geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams, I have always maintained a frank open, honest approach striving to understand the other point of view. Bringing out the best in our teams is crucial for any success.

Who is Chris?

Chris is a Founder and Chief Executive Office of WealthArc (https://www.linkedin.com/in/krzysztofgogol/) - Swiss FinTech platform for external asset managers. The SaaS platform offers fully-automated services inc. custodian bank consolidation, portfolio management and digital client interaction. Recently, WealthArc was recognized Most Innovative Client Solution and Best FinTech Solution in wealth management in Europe by WealthBriefing.

Chris graduated from the University of Warsaw, Poland with Master Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He was pursing PhD at the University of Zurich in Financial Mathematics. Prior to founding WealthArc, he worked at Vontobel Bank and hedge fund Harcourt. He currently lives in Zurich.

Who is Alberto?

Alberto Velasco, Head of Wealth Management Propositions in EMEA, has been with Thomson Reuters since more than 15years; he held various positions in the Wealth Management space from Sales, Sales Management to Business Development of Digital and Wealth Management Solutions across EMEA. In his current role, he drives the design of TR Wealth Management Propositions to serve WM customers across Europe. His remit includes the definition of the end-to-end customer experience, creation new business opportunities, accountability for revenues, margin contribution and business case ROI.

Born in Spain, Alberto obtained a Master degree in International Relations at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, is married with 2 children. During his spare time, Alberto enjoys playing basketball as well as outdoor activities such as running, ski touring or hiking.

Who is Volkmar?

I've been working as a software developer, project manager and consultat for 25 years for banks. I have been able to define and implement many systems at banks in recent years. For the past few years, I have focused on automating and optimizing banking processes. I am technically responsible for integrating the Swisscom operating center for securities and payments. I was able to develop white label solutions for pay and TWINT. In the last 4 years my team devolped and delivered with the IBM Integration Brocker very large Integration Projects. All of these activities had a central element, interfaces. So we decided that our knowledge will be collected into a hub and offer services Fintecs and Banks. In addition to the technical responsibility for Swisscom's Open Banking Hub, I am responsible for implementing the blockchain solutions at the Swisscom Crypto Factory, which was started in September 2017.

Who is Sven?

Sven is responsible for all technical questions, presentations and installations for CA Technologies prospects in the API Management space in the Central European region. He has more than 15 years experience with different enterprise IT solutions consuming, providing and managing APIs. He is currently focused on providing the world-class solutions for API Management and Developer Engagement.In his professional career he soon focused on the idea of selling by providing consultancy in both the commercial and the technical space. Seeing is believing is one of his major concepts for presentations showing real systems instead of a stack of slides.After having successfully completed studying economics he started his career on leading enterprise software companies being responsible for his home market Germany as well Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has been working for leading software vendors in development focused industries in technical driven presales roles ever since. In addition, Sven is a .NET developer in his free time when not using his preferred UNIX based environments.

Who is Stefan?

Stefan is responsible for various API and interface topics, including the partnership between UBS e-banking and the web-based business software from bexio. Stefan holds an MSc degree from the EPFL and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.
