Sitecore special guests x 2!

This month we have not one, but 2 special guests from Sitecore. Colin te Kempel, Senior Product Manager at Sitecore and former Sitecore MVP will be visiting, as will Sitecore Business Optimisation Services consultant Alison Sainsbury, and they have kindly agreed to cover topics that will be of great interest to both technical and business users.

1. xConnect the Why, What and How (Colin te Kempel)
   We will take a look at some of the limitations in xDB in the 8 series and look at why xConnect was introduced. We’ll dive into what xConnect is made up of and how it interacts with the xDB and other sub-systems in Sitecore. Finally we’ll take a look at some use cases around how you might use xConnect in you projects.
2. Using Sitecore's Engagement Value Scale
   Sitecore Business Optimisation Services consultant Alison Sainsbury will present a practical how-to guide on understanding and creating your site’s Engagement Value Scale in Sitecore. Learn how to overcome challenges such in-page events, how to rank your goals, how to use your EVS to discover value in the site, and some quick & easy personalisation tactics you can implement straightaway.
