Purescript with Simon Van Casteren

I will be presenting the relatively new PureScript language. It's heavily inspired by Haskell. PureScript learned from Haskell's problems, made different tradeoffs and is specifically designed to compile to JavaScript. I'd like to take you along my own journey: how I found PureScript, why I decided to invest my time in it instead of its competitors (Elm, GHCJS, ClojureScript, ...) when I started, and what I've learned since then.
