One Minute Tai chi

Tai chi was created by Cheung Shan Feng, some 650 years ago in the Ming dynasty of China as a form of martial art. It is based on the Taoist principle that all movements are an expression of a circle, to synchronise with the ‘way’ of nature.

Today it is practised as a health-promoting, low-impact activity.
Benefits of Tai-Chi: (results vary depending on the individual)
Tai Chi is a low impact, gentle form of exercise and can improve balance, increase muscle strength in your legs, improve general mobility and flexibility. It can also improve cardiovascular fitness, lower blood pressure, and help people who have arthritis.
There are also immense potential mental benefits for relaxation, stress, sleep, anxiety etc.

About me: I have been a Tai chi instructor for more than ten years and have taught for various charities and community centres including Age UK, Camden Chinese Community Centre and the NHS.

About the One-Minute Method:
Traditionally, Tai Chi consists of short and long forms which can take some time to learn and become expert in.

I have developed my unique method where all the moves can be performed in one minute, which makes my form of Tai Chi incredibly easy to learn and incorporate into your daily life.

The course includes relaxation and breathing exercises. and a step-by-step guide to perform the moves and after 10 lessons, one should be able to finish all the moves and be able to start practise themselves.

Costs: free
Just join in and enjoy some Taichi exercise!

When and where: On-line (Zoom) every Tuesday at 7pm to 7:40pm
