This is a get aquainted with one another and discuss our direction meeting.

Please arrive at 6:30 so that, if food or beverages are wanted, they can be ordered and we can do some socializing. The meeting will begin at 7PM. I would like to see this group organized in a manner similar to the Transition Initiative where there is no "dictator" of content, direction or structure. (Although, as the organizer, I will apply some basic guidelines as required) We all need to participate in the collection and dissemination of knowledge. Although the original thrust of this group is in exploring cob and other earth/dirt/mud based structures, it may evolve in many yet unknown directions. Florida presents some basic hurdles to living in mud houses; lack of clayey soils and humidity. I would like to see us "build something" as a group effort at some point. Hope to see you there.
