Wednesday Hump D' Hash!

Details

A hash is a non competitive "Hares and Hounds" style run. It is designed to allow people to go at their own pace and still be able to keep up with the group. We average around 12-15 minutes a mile as a group (a brisk walk).

What is it?: The Hump D’ Hash (Hump D’ is short for hump day – as in Wednesday… get it?). We tend to run 3-6 miles from different bars every week, picking hares at the start to lay trail. The Hump D’ is a casual affair, and the attendees are a friendly lot. Usually 10-20 people come out.

Bring running shoes, comfy clothes, a flashlight (or headlamp), high spirits and low expectations. :)

Time: Meet @ 6:36, Hares off @ 6:54

How it works: on Wednesdays, there is very little pre-planning for the run. After hanging around at the bar for 20 minutes, we go outside, pick 2 people to make the trail, and 10 minutes later, follow after them. While waiting, we explain how a hash works and introduce ourselves.

Come get some exercise and socialize with some terribly entertaining people.

Your first Hash (virgin run) is free. After that, it costs $1 to cover water, flour and chalk costs.
