Let's make iced GENMAICHA and Rare SAYAMACHA

You will learn about Japanese Ocha including how to enjoy ocha. You might not have heard “MIRUME KUKI CHA” and “KABUSE CHA, a very rare kind of Japanese ocha.

You will learn how to make those two differnet kinds of Ocha, “MIRUME KUKI CHA” and “KABUSE CHA”. MIRUME means “newy harvested”, and KABUSE means “ covered with screen to block sun light”. You can also taste those authentic ocha.

You will also learn how to make tasy iced GENMAI CHA by yourself there.

7月23日は、ホットで淹れた玄米茶を一気に冷やした「アイス玄米茶」とちょっと珍しい茎茶を、自分たちで入れて飲むワークショップを行います。お茶を淹れて飲みながら、いろいろな人と出会い、話すひと時を過ごしましょう!

今回ワークショップで使うお茶は、みる芽茎茶、かぶせ茶を萎凋したものです。(萎凋:摘んだお茶を少し寝かせてから蒸すので、発酵がすすんで香り豊かになるお茶。
