#Aufstehen Berlin and activities of World Beyond War. The Coop Anti-War Cafe in Berlin coordinating activities for World Beyond War in Germany.
The recently launched german #Aufstehen Movement and World BEYOND War’s global, grassroots network both reach out to progressive movements in the Americas, in Europe and around the world.
Support campaigns for a welfare state that protects, for fair taxes instead of politics for super-rich, banks and corporations, and for the preservation of the endangered planet.
Meet and discuss issues such as war & militarism, escalating ecological crises, and the global refugee crisis.
Join us to brainstorm strategies & make plans for taking action to shut down NATO's aggressive policies, convert the German arms industry and stop weapons exports, reallocate military spending towards environmental and social needs, and foster increased international networking for progressive movements worldwide.
In Italy the „Patria e Costituzione – Sinistra di Popolo“ movement has just been launched, directly inspired by „Aufstehen“. Other partners are La France Insoumise of Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Momentum from the Britain’s Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, and progressive movements in the U.S.
Worldwide over 500 organisations have signed the Declaration of Peace to join World BEYOND War’s global, grassroots network advocating for the end to all war. The Coop Anti-War Cafe in Berlin coordinating activities for Germany. #Aufstehen in Germany has so far more than 150.000 supporters.
