PMI Gainesville Monthly Meeting

Details
What does it take to get (and keep!) your PMP?
In October 2017, Jessica Winters began the PMP application process and began studying for the exam. She completed the application in approximately 20 hours and studied for approximately 80 hours. In January 2018, Jessica passed the exam on her first try. Currently, she is 1.5 years into the 3 year certification cycle and has 68% of the PDUs required to renew her certification in January 2021.
Join us as Jessica describes how she used her project management skills to manage her available time, budget, and scope to acquire her PMP certification. Jessica will also facilitate a group discussion to elicit additional tips and advice from the audience based on their experiences.
● Are you not yet PMP-certified? Come prepared with any questions you have!
● Do you already have your PMP? Please send Jessica a message with any websites or books that were particularly helpful to you (both related to getting your PMP and earning PDUs) so she can include them on the handout. Also, come prepared to add tips from your experience to the discussion, and invest in supporting the next generation of PMPs!
