Learn to Code with Microsoft MakeCode Arcade

Have you ever wondered what it takes to program a video game from scratch? Microsoft MakeCode Arcade is a free 2D game development environment that you can use directly in a web browser. It gives you the ability to make games using visual blocks (perfect for younger ages), and it also allows you to write your game using JavaScript and Python, which are programming languages used by many professional software developers. In this workshop, we'll go over how to use MakeCode as an introduction to game development, as well as explore ways it can be used to learn and practice programming concepts in JavaScript and Python.
